Claims Handling

Wren’s Claims Managers are specialists in professional indemnity matters relating to construction professionals.

All notifications of potential claims are dealt with by the Claims Managers in-house with the aim of minimising the engagement of outside lawyers, even when notifications turn into claims.

Through our close working relationships with the Members, we encourage them to alert us to problems promptly, so that we can provide practical advice from the earliest opportunity.

We ensure that:

  • Claims are handled cost effectively;
  • Members are kept informed and guided through all stages of a dispute;
  • Outside lawyers and experts, where engaged, work to an agreed strategy and fees are tightly controlled;

Fairness and equity towards all Members are maintained in the handling of their claims.
